![]() I've also used a laptop with a Geforce 7000M with every MC version from 2.7 to 3.5 with no problems. CPU usage since I've had that on AUTO again. ![]() The setting is for multiple-CPU computers. Leaving it on Auto works fine and I have every reason to believe that it gives a performance increase over having is OFF. The nice thing about MC 3.5 is that I no longer have to disable that. The workaround for that is to set the Nvidia Control Panel to disable threaded optimization when MC runs. Since then, I've used a Geforce 8800GT and have had no problems other than the well-known crash during startup while ACPL effects are being intialized. I used an ATI 3870 for a little while but didn't like the poor OpenGL support.
